Want to throw a dinner party your friends will never forget? How about a private class or party at The Savvy Gourmet? We will work with you to design a menu, pair the wine, and teach your guests how to prepare a great meal in the comfort of our state of the art demonstration kitchen. Packages range from guided wine and cheese tastings and simple demonstrations, to full hands-on participation where all of your guests take part in the meal preparation. You decide the level of participation you want and let The Savvy Gourmet handle the rest. All parties include full meal, recipes, and non-alcoholic beverages. The Savvy Gourmet is the perfect place for out of town visitors to get a real feel for New Orleans and our rich food traditions. We have designed a unique hands-on program with multiple food stations that will surely be the highlight of your trip. Start off with a complimentary cocktail or wine, then to Galtoire's Godchaux salad, move on to savory rice calas, and finish off with bread pudding or Bananas Foster.
